We are a family run business specialising in self and custom build homes. Our long heritage is underpinned by unrivalled experience & knowledge, forged over five decades of bespoke projects.
We have created a trusted brand – based on craft, fairness and quality – that we are very proud of. We care passionately about our product and our clients. We are rooted in both design and construction, both are fundamental to creating a joyful home.

All of our oak frames are made by hand in our workshops in rural Herefordshire. We use only the finest & most sustainable green oak, alongside a range of other natural materials & products.

We also make a wide range of oak framed outbuildings, annexes, garden buildings and ancillary structures.
Everything we build is designed to last – handmade from the finest natural materials, based upon vernacular design & traditional craftsmanship. We have a range of modular ‘Classic’ models alongside bespoke options, plus a range of beautiful garden buildings.
Most of our outbuildings have been designed with self-assembly in mind, but we also offer a full construction service where needed.
Perfect Plots
We know how hard it can be to find a great plot for your Border Oak home, and we are here to help. We have a number of ‘ready to buy & build’ Border Oak plots, each with detailed planning approval, infrastructure & prepared legal packages.
We can also offer feedback and support for a plot you may find in your chosen area.
