We design our oak framed buildings specifically for you – your needs, the site and location.

Our in-house Design Team are experts in translating your ideas into reality, and as all of our frames are made by hand there are no restrictions or limitations on what you can have. We can take your project brief, provide sketch proposals and costings and prepare detailed drawings for a planning application.

Our oak framed outbuildings are hand crafted by our experienced team in our Herefordshire workshops using the finest Restoration Grade Green Oak. Border Oak is also FSC® and PEFC certified making us environmentally and socially responsible.  As recognised pioneers of the oak frame industry, our specialist carpenters have unrivalled traditional skills, honed over 45 years.

We have the finest ‘in house’ construction crews, who work all over the UK and abroad.

We can work with existing designs or alongside your architect and have created bespoke oak outbuildings for retail, exhibitions, museums, accommodation, garden structures, swimming pools, market halls, holiday lets, wedding & event venues, sports pavilions, stabling and more!
