Our ever popular farmhouse designs are inspired by the traditional rural farmsteads that characterise our countryside. Generous, organic and informal – we hope they give the impression of a home that has evolved over time. Our designs are influenced by the vernacular materials of the area, often utilising a mixed palette (and varied roof and eaves heights) which helps lend a softer profile to the home.

An exemplary Border Oak farmhouse, specifically designed to sit within a pastoral landscape and compliment the dramatic landscape, but also meet the particular needs of a young family who had relocated their farming enterprise and wanted to create a long lasting, beautiful and adaptable agricultural dwelling where they could live and work.
