The Classic Range

We only use the finest natural materials withing our garages and outbuildings – restoration grade green oak, thick wedge FSC weatherboard, local slate….we use the same products that we use on our homes, and the same talented team make and erect them.

Classic Single Bay

Our simplest of outbuildings and under 4m in height which means it meets Permitted Development requirements. Works very well as a garage, carport and shelter, or upgraded as a garden structure or shed.

Classic 1 & 2

Our Classic model 1 has been designed to meet Permitted Development requirements, which means planning approval might not be required. Our Classic model 2 is similar in style but has a deeper footprint and higher ridge line. Both use a traditional ‘cat slide’ oak frame – with low eaves to the rear – to create generous and practical proportions, without becoming too imposing. Both are ideal for all sorts of uses and work well as garaging.

Classic 3

A single storey outbuilding, but with a larger roof space and full height eaves to the front and rear. Works well in multiple bay lengths and can have either a full pitched roof or hipped ends. A building with classical proportions that provides a handsome addition and with many practical uses beyond garaging. Also works well as a complex when added to other outbuildings.

Classic 4 & 5

These are the larger formats from our outbuilding portfolio and allow for generous first floor accommodation. The Classic 4 has an attic truss format from the eaves, whereas the Classic 5 has an increased eaves height, creating a full 1.5-storey structure with optimal headroom. The design offers an attractive and substantial presence, lending itself to many uses beyond vehicle storage. It also sits comfortably alongside other outbuildings, allowing it to form part of a cohesive group of structures.

Case Study: Creating a bakery in the back garden

Our Classic Range can be adapted to be used as garden rooms or studios. One client is a talented baker, once their hobby turned commercial – moving from enjoying home cooked treats to supplying friends and followers in the surrounding villages with delicious baked goods and pastries – the project moved out of the kitchen and into a specialist outbuilding. Artisan baking in a bakery building made by artisans!
