Custom Build Developments
For a number of years, we have acquired our own land as well as working with clients and landowners all over the UK to help develop their land into Border Oak projects.
With our extensive experience and design and planning expertise, we can help to transform your land into sought after development sites.Â
We are always searching for village or edge village land and other buildings to acquire and are very happy to in full collaboration with the landowner to meet their needs and aspirations. We are able to take on projects with or without planning – green field, previously developed or even with existing buildings.
We are open to considering all options, including landowners retaining land or having a plot.
Examples Projects
Edge of Village: 9 Bespoke Homes
Border Oak were approached by the landowner and obtained Detailed Planning Permission on their behalf. Border Oak then sold the plots on behalf of the landowner, and undertook all the construction and landscaping work, with the landowner retaining a plot on which they built a Border Oak house for their family.
Centre of Village: 7 Bespoke Homes
Border Oak purchased the site outright (under an option subject to planning permission) from the landowner who lived next door. Border Oak handled all the design and planning work, with the vendor retaining a reasonable veto on the detail and designs. Border Oak sold the plots to our clients and built the homes to the agreed drawings including detailed landscaping scheme agreed with the landowner.
How we work
We offer full design and planning services, including collaborative relationships with specialist planning agents and other trusted partners. We are flexible, experienced and committed.
