The White House Project – Luston
A construction progress update – frames erected, roofs going on and first fix underway.

Great progress at our Luston (Herefordshire/Shropshire border) Custom Build project – thrilling to see four of the houses finally spring to life after a very long planning battle due to the phosphate moratorium.
All the plots at Luston are now sold and so our project manager Paul is busy keeping the 6 individual projects running to schedule and working with our construction teams and service providers across the to deliver homes for our lovely clients

We have our own range of hand made bricks, clay tiles, joinery colours, weatherboarding and render mixes which we use across a project – to help unify the scheme and ensure high material and detailing standards – but each home remains unique because the designs are bespoke and every house include the clients own specification from the agreed site pallet. Border Oak also undertake the shared landscaping which really finishes the project beautifully -typically native hedging, grassy verges, local gravel, cobbles and chestnut paling.

Some of the houses are faced in brick externally with weatherboarded ‘extensions’.

Others are rendered or weatherboarded, but will share brick highlights across the design. All of the plots have good sized oak framed outbuildings too.
